For the first part of the Easter Break we took 21 young people aged 13-16years away on a holiday to Butlin’s in Bognor Regis with our partnership with Somers Town Youth Centre!
Arriving at NW5 on Monday at mid day to start our trip we had very excited, overpacked group of young people board the mini bus to head off!
Once all arrived and settled in we headed off to start our holiday with Having a look around our new home for the week! Butlins has everything and more we could need and throughout our 5 day stay we swam everyday and even went to a POOL PARTY! We visited the beach and took a stroll around the local town along all of this we went to the fair, played mini golf, bowled, played pool and so on!
For us our favourite part was the evenings, playing card games, board games, quizzes and some good old fashion truth or dates! Even though us staff defo didn’t take part in the date part!
Overall for us it will be a trip and experience we all won’t forget! It was lovely being able to have the opportunity to take a large group away to enjoy the break from the pressure we all face especially our older young people soon to be sitting their GCSE’s!
