Summer 2024

Our summer 2024 programme ran for five weeks. We organised a playscheme for our children aged 6-13 years alongside our older youth programme for our teens aged 11-18 years. With daily activities on site we were also able to provide our young people with the opportunity to visit places we’re lucky to have right on our doorstep, like Highgate Woods, Hampstead Heath, ice skating at Alexander Palace, and many more!

Our older youth group was also given the chance to take part in a unique opportunity at a 3-day snow camp! Many of our young people were taught how to ski for the first time and learnt really quickly. We came back with certificates and medals to celebrate what they had achieved in their time here!

We had a range of off-site trips for our play scheme and older youth programmes. Our young people went go-karting, to play minigolf, to the cinema, and swimming. Our highlight of the summer was our “Big Trip” to Thorpe Park. We took all of our age ranges for the day and had a great time.

Whilst on site our playscheme hosted cooking sessions, sports and activities, arts and crafts, games and even a sports day competition.

We wouldn’t have been able to make any of this possible without our amazing staff that work so hard to run activities and deliver trips and other opportunities for all of our young people that joined us over the 5-week summer scheme!

Summer was funded through Young Camden Foundation through the HAF (Holiday Activity Fund), and we partnered with other organisations on trips and activities. Thank you to everyone who made it possible. We worked with over 65 registered children per day, all by providing free play and youth provisions and provided two meals a day, breakfast and lunch.
