Our young people aged 12-15 had the incredible opportunity to attend our first residential of the year at Hindleap Warren an experience made possible thanks to the generous support of London Youth. We are so grateful for their funding, which allowed us to give our members a weekend full of adventure, challenge, and growth.
From campfires to night walks, high roles and archery sessions, the weekend was packed with activities that encouraged our young people to try new things, build confidence, and create lasting memories.
Seeing the young people engage, laugh, and support one another made every moment worthwhile. A special thanks goes to three of our older youths who joined us as young leaders. Not long ago, they were attending trips with their friends, and it was fantastic to see them step into a leadership role, gaining valuable experience while guiding and mentoring the younger group.
We also want to extend a huge thank-you to Mark for driving us to and from Hindleap Warren safely your support is always appreciated!
This residential highlighted the incredible benefits for young people of having these opportunities to develop independence, resilience, and friendships in a safe and inspiring environment. We’re already looking ahead and hope to secure further funding next year so even more young people can share in experiences like this.
