We really enjoyed welcoming Khady’s Dream out to deliver a workshop to young people and residents as apart of our partnership with Peckwater TRA, Camden council and Kentish Town Community Champions. The workshop, delivered by Kevin, provides young people and residents with a comprehensive understanding of crime realities and the criminal justice system through lived experience from growing up locally in Camden.

The workshop is designed to aid in reducing youth crime by sharing knowledge, information and lived experience of the various stages of the criminal justice system, while also highlighting the lasting impact that criminal actions can have on an individual’s future.

As an organisation we highly recommend, our young people were keen to attend another session. The workshop ended with feedback from the young people asking for another workshop session with them and that it was an eye opener into things that they were not fully aware of.

“ I never knew about my rights and what a section 60 was. I liked mainly listening about his life and what he did he was open and honest about the stuff he did and it was better than listening to someone who just didn’t know what it was like growing up in camden and actually experiencing things”
