During the October half term we were able to run provisions for our playscheme and our older youths. This was our first programme that was run by our newest trainees! They got the opportunity to work full days with our young people and organise running of their own planned activities. They were also responsible for smooth running of the programme both on and off site. They did and excellent job and we’re excited to see what they will be capable of on our next programme!
During this week-long programme took our young people on trips to local parks, swimming and we even had a group go to Thorpe Parks fright night! Our young people made the most of our very own Halloween party on the last day of the scheme. They brought costumes, joined in with party games and lots of dancing.
