This Easter, our HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programme delivered two packed weeks of activities for children and young people aged 6 and above, creating a busy, exciting, and supportive environment throughout the school holidays.
Across the two weeks, we offered a wide range of onsite and offsite activities designed to keep young people active, engaged, and trying new experiences. From sports and games to creative workshops and trips out in the community, every day was filled with opportunities for fun, learning, and connection.
A real highlight this Easter was our partnership work with Julia, who helped us bring something completely different to NW5. Together, we delivered dance classes and art workshops, including exploring Brazilian dance styles. This gave young people the chance to experience new cultures, express themselves creatively, and build confidence through movement and art.
We were also proud to continue our partnership with Maiden Lane, delivering dedicated girls-only sessions. These sessions included DJ workshops and hat design activities, giving girls a safe and inspiring space to develop new skills, be creative, and try things they may not usually have access to.
Alongside this, our football programme remained a key part of the holiday offer, including a fun and friendly match against Somers Town Youth Centre. The game was a brilliant opportunity for young people to come together, enjoy healthy competition, and build friendships through sport.
The Easter HAF programme was not just about activities, but about creating a welcoming and inclusive space where young people could feel supported, build confidence, and enjoy their school holidays in a positive environment.
We were also pleased to welcome the Young Camden Foundation team during the programme, who came to see the work taking place first-hand and meet the children and staff involved. Their visit was a great opportunity to showcase the impact of the programme and the importance of continued investment in holiday provision for local families.
Overall, it was a busy but fantastic two weeks, full of energy, creativity, and community spirit. We are proud of what was achieved and grateful to all the partners, staff, and young people who made the Easter HAF programme such a success. We look forward to Summer 2026 now!
